The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
